Sorry very non swinging related.

A good friend of ours is turning 60 and we want to get him a present that he can keep but we are on a fairly limited budget.

Unfortunately it’s impossible to buy for someone of an age that probably goes out and buys what ever they want.

They will most probably end up with 100 bottle of whiskey and wine lol

If u can stretch the budget up a bit, selfridges do a nice bottle in a wooden box etc stands out from the rest a bit

Something personalised? I’ve just bought a keepsake box for our sons girlfriend, it’s got her name and date of birth printed on the box lid, not saying get that but maybe something along that line?

What are his hobbies or interests?

Something connected with them is always appreciated. Does he keep a journal, a leather bound notebook would be a good idea. Crystal glass, leather wallet, hardback of a favourite book, canvas of a favourite photo that sort of thing.

Actually gone for a really nice pair of leather gloves as he has to do a daily commute on foot .

Hopefully they are something he can use daily and keep for long time.
