Lot of scammers on eBay at the moment. You buy and pay for something and then it never arrives or something slightly different and worse turns up instead of what you saw.

I've used it, numerous times on items I'm not sure about.

Clothes, shoes, whether they'll fit or I'll like them on me.

Gives me time to try & send back without being out of pocket and then waiting on a refund.

Few times when I've needed to buy a present, for it to arrive in time, & waiting for pay day might mean it won't be here in time

I've had no problems

PayPal offers service where you only pay after delivery - it does give you a bit more chance to block a payment if the item never appears - however I think the payment is triggered by the delivery notification so if for example someone nicks the item off your doorstep you'll probably still have a problem.

I use it all the time, once the item arrives you can just pay straight away, rather than wait for it to take it automatically.
