For many religion is more of a moral compass than a stict set of rules.
Also very little of the bible is devoted to sex compared to other areas of morality. |

Ok, in America you have the Mormons who have several wives and are religious. Not saying it’s similar but it’s ok for them to lie with more than one women! |

The bible has many takes on sexual behaviour. King David and Solomon were generally held up as good examples and had multiple wives and concubines.
The problem with looking at the bible for guidance on relationships is that it wasn’t until relatively recently that women were not seen as possessions and marriage was not really to do with love but more on securing dynasties. |

Probably depends what your religion is but everyone I know who practices any religion has the ability to interpret it in their own way and to suit certain aspects of their behaviour.
I suspect though that if there is one god or many they won't care who you have consensual sex with. |
