That's the crazy Dutch for you..
On a serious note, unexploded ordinance is quite regularly found or washed up on our shores..
If you do find something that resembles a bomb, leave it alone, its quite safe, Mark the area to make it easy to find, retreat a couple of hundred metres to a safe location and call the emergency services.
Bombs from WW2 will probably be very rusty and crud encrusted but have lasted this long without going off so will not detonate for not reason just because you have found it. |
