"In the modern age is it still the case that attractive women always seek the status of a trophy car? What about the reliable but unglamorous Skoda? "
I heard that the parts are the same ones used by Audi ? How true I don’t know? After having constant car trouble for two weeks now I’d drive a milk float with a smile if need be! Cabin fever |

It is all true they are all part of VAG or Volkswagen Audi Group. It includes Seat, VW, Audi, Skoda, Bentley, Porsche Lamborghini.

Expensive or flashy cars tend to only impress people that like that kind of stuff.
Plenty of others are attracted to cars that might be more plain, but fun to be driven around beautiful places in - a spin down to the beach is going to be more fun in a beat-up old convertible than it would be in a brand new 4 door executive car.
The latter are more my type of person!

Haven't washed by car in over a year. It's got a few scratches and dents. It's over five years old. It's a cheap diesel estate.
Still have sex.
I doubt many women are really bothered.

I drive a hairdressers car and I get a fair bit of grief over it. I think it also depends on the area you live as to whether people are interested in the person or the wallet. Nobody has said anything about my car in Manchester, but in my village in Cumbria it's different |

I think it's an old generalisation. Im not sure if it ever really existed or if it was just a myth or belief. I would say most people aren't that bothered what you drive.

There and to the left a bit |
I think there are those that would be swayed by the type of car you drive but they're also the type of person that would be swayed by how much money you have, whether you wear designer clothes and other such fripperies of wealth and would expect to be wined and dined in the top restaurants etc.
As such they're of no interest to me nor would they be if I did have money. |

When ever I drive beards car, People always look bemused as to why a female would be driving it . And all they ever say is you must have a rich husband or is that daddy’s car which is annoys me. Then when ever he drives it he always get slagged off by people who will just randomly shout out you got a small dick or that must be the only way you can get a woman. He worked hard to get a car he always wanted and it takes the edge of having one when you have idiots about |

Some women will seek a "good" car yes. I don't know if cars are necessarily a sign of wealth any more unless you're going proper high end.
I do genuinely like cars - have done since I was very little . I'm part of a car forum, I've attended various events. I'm much more likely to geek out over a car rather than cream my knickers. |

I have met a guy both off here and in really life for his car choice but not for sexual reasons... purely that his choice of car means we have a lot in common as you don't just decide to have those sorts of cars without being into them.
I'm a car enthusiast and love my cars and bikes. So a mention of them having a rare or extreme car peaks my interest. |

Strange thing about cars and bikes the attraction of them.
When I park up my Suzuki no one bats an eye lid but when it's the harley people want to talk about the bike, ask to sit on it and take a pic.
Just way it is |

No, but I would totally judge someone on the state of their car, same as I would the state of their home! If it shows in pics on here, or if I had reason to be in it (I don't tend to meet at guys homes so it's unlikely), then I expect it not to be full of clutter or filthy! |

I don’t really care what someone drives as long as it’s not a blue Subaru with gold alloys and a huge spoiler at the back. If Tom Hardy himself pulled up to a meet in one of those I’d say no thanks. I can say this safe in the knowledge that Tom Hardy won’t see it and wouldn’t give a shit if he did |

It needs to be functional and reliable. I tend to but something that has the functional requirements I need and I like it and then run it into the ground. It is in no way a status symbol for me, but I’m aware it might be for others and that’s cool too. |

I will say this about cars.....
You get way more action driving a regular car than a exotic car....
Remember....you can’t pick a girl up in a Lamborghini/Ferrari/Bentley and go to McDonald’s.....
It usually leads to high expectations or turning a woman off , as she might think you’re trying too hard to show off... |

I’d agree with that mostly . However I’d hazard a guess that the average Bentley, Lamborghini , Ferrari driver will have a modicum of intelligence to be in the position to purchase , hire and run such a car !!
Unless they’re a drug dealer |

"I will say this about cars.....
You get way more action driving a regular car than a exotic car....
Remember....you can’t pick a girl up in a Lamborghini/Ferrari/Bentley and go to McDonald’s.....
It usually leads to high expectations or turning a woman off , as she might think you’re trying too hard to show off...
Indeed! If a man has to embed his personality in his car, I shudder to think what kind of character he is. Immature, insecure and shallow I should think and definitely lacking in intelligence
I’d agree with that mostly . However I’d hazard a guess that the average Bentley, Lamborghini , Ferrari driver will have a modicum of intelligence to be in the position to purchase , hire and run such a car !!
Unless they’re a drug dealer
Or it's hereditary wealth... Royal family..
