Friend of mine deleted her account yesterday due to abusive messages.
She had been on the site before but this time she'd had enough so left.
Luckily I'm in contact with her and we meeting but I just don't understand the nasty approach at all |

The only ugliness apparent was in the behaviour of the person who sent the message. I feel sad when I hear things like this so frequently on here.

I think sites like this this suffer from the dame things as the likes of face book and instagram with the fear of missing out "fomo" effect.
People see others meeting, getting veries, having play pics etc while they are having no luck (especialy guys as well we are a saturated market :p) and for some people this is thier reaction. They protect thier ego by attacking others. They arent "missing out" when they are rejected as they "never wanted you anyway" because of whatever insult they can level at you.
It's shitty and it sucks to be on the reciving end of it but you have to remember it's not a reflection on you but them.

When they fail at what in their mind was a foregone conclusion, the nasty side of them comes out..
It is this nasty side that is the reason for their continued failure in any form of relationship and why they become the keyboard warrior, spouting venom to anyone that refuses their approach.. |

It's not easy being a single guy on here despite what women/couples likely think (understandably, I may add). Unfortunately, some guys react to rejection in a very unfortunate manner and resort to 'revenge' tactics/accounts. Sorry, you had the misfortune to receive abuse at the hands of one of these people, but you shouldn't take it to heart as it truly says more about them than it ever does about you.
Personally, I find completely reasonable and polite women/couples telling me that I'm 'not their thing' and to 'have a nice day' far worse |

Do polite people make you sad?
I think many men feel bad at getting no replies so I try and be polite and always reply to first messages. I don't ever say they're 'not my thing' though.
I think they're usually just relieved I said no. |

Erm.... The person who said those things to you clearly doesn't get the whole swinging lifestyle. No need to be horrible to another human being. Kinda ironic that they should call you horrible by being horrible themselves.
Not that you were asking for a profile review and I hope I don't get blocked off the forums for saying so but you have some fantastic pictures. Perhaps you should give me tips on getting a great pic.
