I had mine in my late 30’s. As I remember, I had 2 or 3 days of soreness then it started to feel better, after a week or so I was fine. It’s not effective until all the swimmers are out of your system, so that means lots of sex and wanking, all for medicinal purposes! Every cloud and all that! |

Think you're mistaken with a vasectomy mate, but that's not painful either |

Is it a vasectomy you’re referring to rather than a circumcision? |

Doh, you’re totally correct. I’m old and it’s been a long week! Apologies! |

And as for circumcision, had mine when I was in my late teens. Walked around like I’d just got off a horse for a while as I remember. Also remember I had s lot of numbness on my helmet, it wore off eventually but did take a little while. |

I used to work in day case and we’d do about 8-12 of them a day it’s a simple procedure some even just done under a local! Very brave men. They bring you back to the ward when you’re done and when you’ve peed eaten drank and can walk your free to go you’re looking at half a day in total depending where you are on the list.
No sex or wanking for two weeks and no baths etc for a few days can shower though and you’re good to go.
Every one said it was less painful than they expected. We would advice to have paracetamol and ibuprofen at home just in case but generally not always needed.
The worse part is coming round from the anaesthetic makes you all groggy.
Good luck. You’ll be fine!!! |

Had mine done when I was a baby as well. Never had a foreskin so can’t really comment on the differences etc. I’ve never known any different so I guess ignorance is bliss lol |

Genuinely not arsed about my natural foreskin. Don't really want to undergo the potential risk of surgery purely for aesthetics.
Behind people with phimosis getting it.
Bit barbaric to do it to babies though. Against that. |

"Why do it? As a female I enjoy the extra movement especially during a hand or blow job. tight foreskin in many cases"
Unless overly tight, manual stretching over a few months is not bad at all. |

Its usually done if men can’t pee properly or are getting repeated urine infections. If the skin is too tight deformed or causing pain. It’s never done for cosmetic reasons unless it’s to remove excess foreskin but not total circumcision, there’s another op called a frenuloplasty to the best of my knowledge corrects tightness and lack of movement over the glans.(head of penis)
Obviously in Judaism they circumcise soon after birth I’m not entirely sure why? I think it’s to do with purity? |
