I think and have been told I look around the age I am. Some people get a couple of years older some people get a couple of years younger but they're often not far out. |

No idea what 45 is supposed to look like?I don't look as old as either of myy ounger sisters though, nor my school friends of the same age.
Although i got a white eyebrow hair for christmas so it's catching up with me i reckon. |

I think I look my age but I’m never asked for ID....poor husband is 26 on Sunday and still gets asked for ID for painkillers and energy drinks
When I was 14 and he was 18 we both went to HMV and bought the same DVD, which was a 15 (we both bought it as a Christmas present for someone else). He got asked for ID, I didn’t |

I’m 53, no one believes me when I tell them, maybe that’s just something people say to be polite though. I have no idea what 53 should look like. People my age all look different as far as I can see. |

Most folk that play the guess the age game say I'm a mid to early thirties, but I reckon there's a tendency for people to err on that side to try not to offend me. Because I certainly feel every single one of the years and then some at the mo |

That's the thing isn't it really? Everyone looks so different, I guess it's going off some stereotypical mass view as to what a particular age should look like. I still get ID'd a lot which is slightly embarrassing. |

Generally people think I’m a good few years younger. That’s despite the on-set of some classy greys now!

I was told a couple of times in the hols by young friends I looked glamorous.
Fucking hell!!
That just made me feel my age. It’s kinda like saying

Dunno. I have 2 kids with someone capricorn and he was 10 yrs older than me at the time but told me he was only 5 yrs older (and i never found out until a few years ago when he told our oldest son he was 50).
He must be 55 now and does look about 40,not even going grey but has balded a little. |

Always looked younger. Hated it in my youth, but it’s an advantage in my later years. Still hooking up with folk in their 20-30s which suits since my tastes have changed & I tend to prefer younger Meets now. |

I don't look my age through squinted eyes and my body is pretty much the same as when I was 17, I'm incredibly lucky really! Certainly don't take it for granted though!

stop smoking ,it ages the skin big time
drink more water
drink mugs of boiling water with big slices of fresh lemon in , cleanses the body .
eat more veg and fruit
walk a couple of miles a day ....... |

I smoked to make myself look older. Still look younger than my age.
Drink boiling water - with a tea bag in it.
Don’t exercise. Still the same shape I was in my teens.
Not a fan of veg. More meat please.
I agree for some your advice works. Maybe I’m just lucky with my genes. Dunno. |

I've been told more than once on here that facially I could pass for 38/40
I think there may have been a touch of bullshit there, but by the same token in the "real world" I'm often told I only look in my early 40s.

I often confuse people with my age. Not uncommon to be mistaken mid 20s, had the odd early 20s.
The appearance of the grey is starting to confuse people even more.

I’m 22 and constantly get told I look about 28, I even had to show a girl I was trying to pull my ID in town a few weeks back cause she didn’t believe I was 22 XD |

These are my thoughts. If you line 100 people up who were born on the same date there will be a huge variation in how they look. Whatever age a person is they can look great given the time and resources |

There is a generic cookie cutter stereotype look and then based off that I guess. I think as we ourselves age (and the social norm) what was through of as looking older changes.
You are right, I'd honestly not be able to describe what a 41 year old should look like. I do find it... Strange when people say you look good for X age like that age is supposed to look like they are on deaths door or something.
Honestly had to peek at your profile when you said 41 though, from your profile pic if I was told to guess it would have been early 20s. Doubt I'm the only one to think that. |
