Sexy Hold Ups

Let’s face it- a sexy pair of hold ups look good on a woman.

However- Does anyone else have a problem with them just not fitting?

I’m a size 12 and my legs are reasonably ample with a comfortable lady amount of muscle and chunk to help me both run and squat with.

When I’ve felt I’ve wanted to buy some sexy hold ups I’ve always had to go to the largest size and even then sometimes they ‘dig in’ to my thigh giving a dimpled impression rather than the smooth look I’d be hoping for. I really wouldn’t have a problem but I just can’t get bigger sizes.

How does everyone else find them? Do you have a similar problem or is it just me?

Where do you buy your favourites? I just found a gorgeous cream pair from Trasparenze but even then have to go to XL for the smooth look. I dread it if I put any more curve on my legs....

There must be other sexy brands people have found.

You'll be fine, it's just trial and error.

"You'll be fine, it's just trial and error. "

Oh yes- but an expensive trial and error. At £20-25 a pop (nice ones) then if they don’t fit you can’t return them...

I get the xl ones from Asda - they don’t dent and I have massive thighs, they sit perfect and smooth and they’re pretty too...

They are a night mare for me as mainly too short or roll down although I have found the best fitting ones to be from Primark and they stay up if you wet them a little

Lol

What’s a chicken leg?

It’s lush when you find one you like- but such a shame you can’t get it any more

I was going to say Primark I've bought some really expensive hold ups and stockings in the past but actually the £2 ones from Primark are the best by far.

My Girl finds it hard to find ones that fit nicely and stay up. We find M&S stockings work the best for her.

An ex used to say Asda did the best fitting ones. Probably best to buy the cheapest ones from a few stores then have a look at a more pricey pair from the best fitting range.

Having tried nearly every brand I find M&S are the only ones that hold up, don’t roll at the top, are long enough for me and don’t leave a massive bulge of fat thigh at the top! And they do opaque ones too!

In close second is Jasper Conran hold ups from Debenhams.

At least marks do different sizes. Most are “one size” useless for me! Just about come over my knees!

Have you looked on stocking hq? Loads of choice and different measurements depending on brand. I've heard a lot of good things about primark ones but yet to try as my nearest doesn't stock them

Just don't like them so don't make the effort with something uncomfortable.
