Within the last year, have you met anyone who doesn't exactly match the criteria in your profile?
For example - if your profile says you're looking for men aged 35 to 40, have you met a man aged 48?
Why did you meet them? Are your profile details just a guide?

Most of our profile is more about where we like to meet and how we like to interact. That's not set in stone but very much preferred so very little compromise on that. We don't have a set body type so that's flexible, as is age despite the criteria on the profile. That's a guide.

Everyone I've met in the last year was outside my criteria but then I'm just a slut..
Just kidding..
I met bugger all people last year due to being too busy.. this year, it's going to be a lot different and I doubt I will compromise. |

It's hard to tell sometimes as you can't check people's profiles on a spontaneous night out.
Either way it's probably a rough guide. We tend to switch alot depending on scenario/fantasy. |

Yes I have met people outside of my criteria.
However the majority of those have been people that I've got chatting to on the forum. The majority of my criteria is just mainly to limit the amount of messages. If I see a profile that I like the look of and they are outside of what I specify then I will just message and see what happens. |

One of my meets was outside my criteria in that it was with a couple which I don't specify I am looking for (although am open to with the right couple) so they didn't match my criteria from that perspective but in all other respects they matched exactly what I look for |

My criteria isn't that stringent, so it's easy to find men who fit. The only one I've broken is my lower age preference, but it's someone I've met several times before so I knew he was "suitable"!  |

Longer than a year ago but Swing didn’t completely meet my criteria, he’s too young  In fairness it was never meant to be anything more than a social. We’d interacted on the forum and as Swing was up north we thought it’d be nice to have coffee. My details were never a guide I knew what I liked. Men aged 40-50 that was until I met one aged 37 and I never met another man again  |

The only criteria that I have really is age and that's just a guide. Beyond that it's just a case of 'don't be a dick', so in terms of that; yes, I did break my criteria...
Only joking, the people I met last year were lovely people. |

I'm wondering if this is where I'm going wrong. Compared to many blokes on here I am having decent response rates from messages and even had a couple of women who I am really enjoying talking to say they'd be amenable to meeting but so far it's proving tricky to actually get to meet them... I wonder how much of this is last minute hesitation due to my lack of veris. I did meet someone from the site a few months back and we both had a good time but being new to the site at the time I didn't realise that maybe I was selling myself short by not asking her to verify me. Actually with hindsight I'm impresses I got a meet in my first two weeks of membership. |

Yes the message limiter is a good point. I was pondering if people limit their profile 'wants' to cut down on messages. |

Thank you for all the varied replies.
My OP question was because some people mail even when they don't fit the criteria on those profiles. Always a chance that person might still meet them. |

Yes. She was younger than what I usually go for but she has a nice ass and a nice personality to match...last but not least she worked at Scotch and Soda and I wanted some good prices to buy new pants |

I said I wouldn't do car fun, met a guy In his car, made me realise why is at that rule... but was more of a, I knew him from high school and he made a horrible rumour up about me (being shit at oral) kinda wanted the satisfaction, went out he cum within 5mins of being in my mouth... who was shit now?!  |

The criteria are for fab only, reduces the number of people we wouldn't generally consider but in a club attraction is attraction. No filters required in there. |
