Sorry to be a pain and sadden anyone's mood but needed to chat to someone and your all not a bad lot .

Rosie our 14 year old Westy has been getting small lump like warts all over for about 3 months, they weren't bothering her until she got 2 inside her ear, one on the lobe and 1 inside the ear canal. When she scratches her ear now they are bleeding and filling her ear with dry blood . We are bathing it regular but this is causing her pain and distress. Had her to vets today and they have taken a biopsy and we now have a 24 hour wait for results. . Please wish her well you lovely fabsters

Ali xx

Nowt worse than a poorly pooch. Or any other pet.

Going to make sure out nipper becomes a vet in years to come as we must have spent a fortune on them over the last couple of years.

Hope pooch is on the mend soon.

Its quite common in older dogs ... our dog had a few removed as she kept licking them ... think positively .

Just an update for those who were kind enough to comment on the thread and all the P.M's we received. Rosie is going to fine vets have just rang , the warts are benign and nothing to worry about , but the 2 in her ear they are going to remove as that's causing her discomfort when she scratches so its great news thanks everyone xx I can sleep now

That is good news. Hope op and recovery go ok. (Don't laugh at her too much when she's got one of those protective bucket collars on her head afterwards)

Glad it's not serious, I was similarly worried with some of the lumps that have appeared on my 14 year old Springer but the vet assures me they aren't anything sinister x

O bless her. Glad she's OK.

They do get odd lumps as they get older and it's such a worry.

Collar of shame time for her lol.

Dogs can usually detect anything that is wrong with their owners before they can with them
