Do you find it easy to motivate yourself or do you work better if you have someone pushing you?
I always pictured myself to be a good team member in the army, but know if you push me beyond what I want to do, I’ll just quit.
But working for myself for so long I find it hard to get motivated.
How about you, does your get up and go take time to get going? |

I tend to have to act on moments of motivation pretty much as they happen and it just kind of snowballs from there. Otherwise yeah, it takes a while to get going.

"Nothing motivates me more than a looming deadline. If it's not last minute I'm not interested"
Haha yep this! Give me a deadline and I'll wait until I get stressed enough to finish it in record time!
I'm like a snowball rolling down a mountain, gaining enthusiasm and motivation, by the time it reaches the bottom and is destroyed I'll be at my peak motivation

I'm useless, the only thing that motivates me is a deadline, or an animal in need of attention! |

I'm not good at being told what to do.
If so things needs to be done I tend to just get it out of the way as quickly as possible. Also prevents me from forgetting to do it and have to rush round at the last minute... I forget to do loads of stuff, maybe I need a personal assistant.... |

I’m much better when it’s a crisis. I move quickly and efficiently when panicking.
Deadlines, I always leave to the last minute because of my point above. |

When it comes to something like cleaning out my kitchen cupboards it happens accidentally.
I don't plan stuff like that; I start moving things and keep going. |

I do that. If I plan it I can't be bothered. |

If I havnt got a deadline then it is unlikely to ever get done. If there is a deadline then there will be a flurry of panic in the dying minutes but it will all be done.
Currently trying to motivate to log off here. |
