A foundation in America has issued a challenge to budding inventors to invent a device similar to a Star Trek Tricorder that must be hand held and able to read health metrics and diagnose at least fifteen diseases. They are offering $10m to the inventor who comes up with a successful design.
What everyday object would you 'Star Trek' if you could?
I'd invent a warp drive and I reckon I'd stand a good chance of doing it considering I got a warped mind already. |

"In this day and age, transporter would be a fantastic thing to design"
Apparently it's already underway they have transmitted a photon of light across a lab already ( fuck knows how they knew it was the same one lol ) and they are sure that in a hundred years time they will be able to transport an apple
So I wouldn't hold ya breath about meets just yet xx |

If they can do an apple in a hundred years, maybe a banana or cucumber isn't out of the question Hope for the meet-less in 2112 |

Well we already have the communicators so definitely have to agree about the transporters, no more sitting for hours going to Cornwall. My son wished he could transport the wee out of his bladder when we were in a traffic jam years ago. What an interesting idea, where/whom to send it to? Evil laughter he he he! |

Would that be where you stick it in a little black box and it appears somewhere else? Wouldn't you be immensely worried about power cuts |

Well...hummmmph ,,,,,I would say its glaringly obvious from Jon Luc Picards head, the one thing that’s completely eluded even the Star-Trek generations technical abilities,,,, is a cure for male pattern baldness,,,,
But there ya go... Oh. and before ya start,,,, I kinda like the bald Luc-look as it happens... so I aint taking a dig..... I'm just say'in thats all...... !!!

Ha! Not that foolish, as far as i'm aware they are one way!

I feel there isn't enough risk involved in gloryholes at the present and needs to be kicked up a notch or two |

You could but a set of false teeth in them, at random intervals they clamp down... that would certainly add a risk factor, then you'd be hoping for power cuts! |
