“Dad bod” is the most misused phrase on here by miles... you know it’s meant to be a phrase used to describe athletic older men right? When you’re still big but not chiseled |

Always wondered whether I should use Athletic or Average for body type. I work out 2-3 times a week but enjoy a good amount of beer/good food. Means I don't have a 6 pack but I lift a good amount you know?
I'm content in myself but I think I'm halfway between dad-bod and athletic/6 pack. The missus prefers my body type at least! |

Love the look of a 6 pack but not up for anyone with one a good face, personality and bit of dad bod for the win
Dad bod is meant to be for the muscly, every day as a gym day sort who've swapped vanity for family. So strong with some extra padding to cuddle

A lot of women say dad bods or that toned six packs don't do it for them.
Yet whenever women actually pay to gawp at manmeat it's more the Channing Tatums than the Jonah Hills.
The free market never lies

Average dad bod but broader shoulders ...gym bunnies are like Ferrari’s ...nice to look at but you wouldn’t want one ..imagine an average lady (like me) getting undressed in front of some one with body fat in single figures ...no, just no |

Depends on what time of day it is, what I’ve eaten and how much water I’ve drank that day.
I can wake up looking shredded and can go to bed like a really really small space hopper |

This really made me giggle. I’ve been a space hopper for about the last 8 months I reckon |

I'm sorry to be a naysayer but ladies you are all talking utter dross.
Time and time again you read profiles of females who not only have a type as preference but actually demand the guy's they meet must meet a very certain physical criteria.
Ie.
Must be gym fit, muscular cock size and everything even how tall they have to be.
Heck there is one popular forum member who had the most specific requirements on her profile Ive ever seen right down to the size of eyebrows and body fat percentage!!!
Not to mention that most females are far more fussy about age's as well.
So yes there are "some" ladies who don't mind a bit of a tum or someone who is less toned or over the hill in terms of physical appearance.
They are definitely in the minority.
Drops mic. Runs off to hide byeeeeee |

Love how so many here say "Rugby Player type", "big shoulders and thighs" yet 80% are well athletically built with a visible six pack on top of that nowadays |

Meet 80% of the lads I work with in rugby and trust me there's no 6 packs |

Great. But I'm still more attracted to those that have obviously made an effort than those where the effort is less obvious. No need to be so offended. I'm just drawing from my own experience of being obese. |

I'd class myself as having a Dad bod, as whilst I'm not in bad nick and have the basics of a six-pack, it's not the most defined I've ever been and I'm also a father so qualify on that score too!
This thread therefore bodes well! |

I think Dad Bod means in good shape, but not quite perfectly ripped, ie, a basic six pack fine, but not absolutely chiseled so you look like you're hiding the Corrie cobbles under your skin. Also can mean muscular, but not completely so, ie without thick veins adorning your skin everywhere etc? |
