Den of Iniquity

After watching Billy Connolly Made in Scotland two parter last night it's sad to see a man that's bought so much joy into my life clearly struggling . He is , and always will be , my favourite celeb ( not just comedian) ever . Any other fans in here ??

I best not comment, I did offer my views on a Facebook thread and have since received death threats.

Actually cried when watching it. When he visits the banjo maker...

I love him, always have. I'm Scottish, so he reminds me of home, but he is just sooo clever and funny and lovely.

The world will be a slightly poorer place when he passes, IMHO.

The man is a comedy genious.

Saw him a few years ago abd the phrase ' he's talking to the audience but directly to you' is what we got. Only caught half the show as we laughed so much..

Sad to see him like this but he still looks at it with the humour we all know and love, i hope it can be an inspiration for all of us.

I think he’s still the leading comedian of his generation. I can’t think of anyone that comes close right now

The way he is dealing with what is, sadly, his terminal illness is totally inspirational. “ it’s like some one is preparing you for the next stage, taking away the stuff they gave you earlier in life. Eyesight, hearing, hand control”

I’m paraphrasing...but it made us weep
