The round where the Big boys come out to play, are your team playing, are they still in it, Giant killing predictions anyone.
Newcastle are at home to Blackburn this evening and I'm not massively hopeful |

This used to be the best weekend of the season. The competition has been devalued in recent years by the bigger clubs fielding weaker sides and by moving games for TV. There aren’t many ties kicking off at 3pm today which is a shame. |

There and to the left a bit |
"This used to be the best weekend of the season. The competition has been devalued in recent years by the bigger clubs fielding weaker sides and by moving games for TV. There aren’t many ties kicking off at 3pm today which is a shame."
I was actually pretty impressed by Spurs not fielding an overly weakened team last night and Pochs comments afterwards about not disrespecting Tranmere and their supporters by doing so - ok it wasn't a full strength team but most of the "names" made an appearance (Eriksen and Lloris being the only two that spring immediately to mind that didn't).
Agree it's been devalued over the years though and isn't the fairytale competition it once was - in fact I can't remember the last time I watched the whole final, which used to be an event in itself, no matter who was playing, back in the day. |

I'm sure that in recent seasons it hasn't even been the last game of the season with a prem game after it, if that team has been in the final of the champions league, I think. |

Taking the lad the match today. It's my birthday tomorrow and when I was a kid we used to do an 8hr round trip to the fa cup every January. 30 years on it's me taking my kid but luckily it's only 30mins down the road now. |

I know Chelsea aren't amongst the most loved teams, but we've always taken it seriously - I, genuinely, prefer to win the FAC than the CL (and we're kicking off at 3pm today) |

This is my biggest argument, how can a team think that their home cup competition is less important than it is? The fans are always up for the FA cup (which other comps then misled themselves on). It’s the finest knockout comp around (or was). Some fantastic battles and historic goals (as a united fan, we have more than many )
It just doesn’t get the press or advertising that the champions league gets.
I’d rather win this first than win the champions league...roll on the haters. |

Well done to Gillingham beating us today. They are quite entitled to defend with their lives and snatch a winner.
We did just that to Leicester a few games ago.
Fair result and good luck to them.
It's been on bt and some, almost unheard of TV channels but not bbc. I think there is a game on tomorrow. This follows on from previous discussions in this thread.
I hope our players are embarrassed but I'm not too disappointed, the magic of the club isn't what it used to be.
I'm lucky enough to have seen us in a FA cup final. |

"Dramatic comeback by Derby, we have been weak in defence at times this season, but at least we are still in the draw on Monday
#superramfan " . Your comeback was not enough for me , had a treble , Accrington to beat Ipswich , gillingham to beat Cardiff and Derby to beat Southampton , thought you would do it when back to 2-2 |

Would have been a doddle with 11 but even though with 10 didn't look much different except no finish. Done by a breakaway well executed with a little luck...been us a few times this season so can't grumble. The top teams in championship all have to play at least another game so could be good news for city!! |

Could do with an away draw with the big 6 in the fourth round, Arsenal would be good, but Spuds in their new ground is preferred. Regardless, we are in nosebleed territory now, furthest the club has ever been. Wally Downes yellow blue army - COYD's |

Spookily enough we've got Accrington in the next round, providing we can overcome The Saints first |

We have come on leaps and bounds in a few years. Get half decent crowds now. When me and my started going, clubhouse pre match had about 9people in it,and 3of them were bar staff. Now it's packed. We get free season tickets. |

Chelsea v Sheffield Wednesday or Luton
Newcastle or Blackburn v Watford
Middlesbrough v Newport
Manchester City v Burnley

Any more thoughts on the draw?
I'm happy with The Hammers match at Wimbledon.
It looks like Arsenal v Man Utd is the tie of the round. |

Only 12 premier league teams left in. At least 3 going out next round.
Thankfully the holders are still in. |
