No, don’t ask them what they are doing. What difference does it make? All it does is make you look like a fool of a Took who can’t think of anything interesting to say. More photos and more words in your profile might help. |

A few general points :
The profile tells us nothing about you, what you can offer, what you’re after etc. Many people will think that if there’s no effort in the profile, will there be any in a meet?
I don’t know what you say in messages, so can’t pass comment on the type of thing you say to people, and I know that many of us aren’t great with grammar etc, but your post above is one long ramble with absolutely no punctuation at all. It’s difficult to read to be honest.
So if your messages are written in the same style, long and with no pauses for punctuation, then that might turn some people off.
It’s harsh and shouldn’t make a difference, but some people are grammar nazis!
Anyway, listen to some of the advice that others have posted and try and beef up your profile! I hope it works and you find what you’re looking for my friend!! |

A few general points :

There's plenty you can say in a first message, usually tailoring it to the recipient based on why you are messaging them, what you like on their profile (and not just comments like Great arse) and so on makes a positive first impression. Asking me how my weekend was or what I'm up to and nothing else usually just gets deleted.
If you're sending How's u? type messages then not an issue but if you're making an effort use some punctuation to make text easier to read.
And bear in mind often women on here say the profile affects whether they'll reply to a message or not. Think about what yours offers the reader. |

I never joined this site thinking I would be a success I joined the site for fun with females couples meals as I'm bisexual but there's a big difference I realised if you're a couple or female or even a pretty boy a Brad Pitt look alike this site is a success if you're a single male then it's a different story. |

I'm not making no excuses for my own actions just some people's advice was saying that I don't have enough pictures and I only have a one sentence profile. But at least I have decency to put a profile picture on. Some profiles. have pictures but no face showing and some profiles mainly men's have just pictures of cock or tits or ass. |

I’m not denying that either but the constant negative criticism of those people that do have problems need to stop.
I can barely count to ten and this is what my face does if someone mentiones algebra or the eight times table. I’m thankful I don’t have to communicate in numbers. |

But you're the one asking what you're doing wrong, saying the site isn't working for you. You have no idea whether it works for them or not, and it's irrelevant as you're obviously not getting what you want from the site. Why not take on board the constructive comments and actually use them? |

me too dyscalculus too i used to fail tests as i didnt understand how to show my work had go do maths in my head ended up not bothering learning because of it but hey ho has no baring on my life at all |

It did for me. Midwives now have to take a maths test regularly. The test bears no resemblance to the maths we use in practice but if failed, it’s possible to be removed from the register. |

To the OP these are our thoughts. Hope they help.
1. Would change the pic to one where you're smiling and looking relaxed. If you're going to wear black then smile otherwise you don't look welcoming.
2. Would suggest more than one picture and be smiling in all of them.
3. Try and get the picture taken from eye level or above not below. Pictures taken from below looking up are not flattering.
4. Fill the frame with your face. No one wants to see your car or your legs or the ground..
5. To be honest I would read 'looking for fun' as 'looking for no string attached casual sex'. That's fine, but then you better have a really good profile and write a killer email so that women who get hundreds of messages a day can pick you out.
If you're looking for an actual relationship then there are much better sites than this one.
6. Try and let your personality shine through in your writing and out little bits of extra info and your hobbies in there to capture interest.
For example:
"I enjoy relaxing with friends in the jacuzzi"
Versus.
"I work hard in security and after I've thrown the last d*unk onto the pavement I love relaxing with friends in the jacuzzi, telling jokes and talking about playing the guitar."

This is the best advice.
I always say to new guys asking for advice to take a look around, do some research. I know you're not wanting to meet guys but have a look at their profiles, see what they write and how they write it. Pictures help too, good pictures even more so.
Yes your writing style may make things harder for you, especially on the forums where the written word is basis of all interaction.
Take your time, think about what you're saying.
Finally, you seem like a decent sort of guy, take the advice given, don't rush and find your feet. My first time around it took me 8 months to get a meet, it does take time but it's worth it if you put the time in. |
