Maybe they are hoping for a way in. Most of their messages get ignored, so they want to grab your attention to get you chatting. Ive had them a few times, with my real name in the title heading. But i have face pics up, so i know that sometimes i will be recognised.... i just wish, like you, that they would scroll on haha. |

You can't block in real life. You can't block family friends.
I do know how the site works. I'm questioning men's behaviour and hope even one man reading this will think more carefully. |

I just think if I recognise someone on here or in a club, or vise versa, then we're both in the same situation.
Yes I'm on a sex site and I'd rather keep my private life just that, having said that I'm not ashamed that im on a swingers site or that I enjoy sex. Like I said I don't make it public or common knowledge but it wouldn't devastate me if somebody was to find out.
I do understand what you mean though OP. If I recognised someone on here I wouldn't message them just to tell them I would move along. |

There is a man Vs woman thing. There's more stigma attached being a woman in charge of her own sexual destiny. That is why so many guys try and use it against you when you turn them down on dating sites. |

That is absolutely spot on.
I or any woman for that matter has nothing to be ashamed of being on a site like this. It's the same for men obviously, but you are absolutely right on the whole it is far more socially acceptable for a man to have lots of sex with multiple partners than it is for a woman. Although I do think attitudes are changing slowly. |

But anyone who posts face pics has to expect there's a chance of it happening surely?
If the risk of being outed is one you want to avoid then it's pretty easy to maintain a level of plausible deniability, simply by keeping face pics and any showing easily identified ink out of public view.
Sure - it would be great if everyone could post full body/face photos without a care and with no worry if Dave down the pub would see them and show/tell others.
But common sense says that's unlikely.
Sometimes you have to look at being on here with 20/20 vision rather than rise tinted spectacles......

We’ve been ‘outed’ many a time in our home city , by both men and women . The worst was in ASDA on a Friday morning by two women who we had played with at a club in the Wednesday before . The fact that we had our four year old son with us didn’t help . They had forgotten the name of this site , and wanted a reminder , and were overly excited about meeting up again . Both were in their early twenties , and discretion wasn’t high on their list of priorities . I walked away with the lad while my wife explained why they were out of order .
It happens , so the best thing to do is accept it and move on . |

I had one fella from another site threatening to out my sexuality on Facebook. I opened a new profile and arranged to meet the guy without him knowing it was me , gave me his address and everything.
