I live with my son and two annoying dogs.
My son could come home at any time and my dogs whine at the bottom of my stairs if they are downstairs on their own for long. |

I don't drive, but I regularly take the train to meet somebody, and have done for others in the past, so my profile says can travel.
I don't accomodate, but never say never for someone I've known for a long time. |

Oh god, I have four dogs and everytime someone comes over I have to say ‘give me a minute’ and go through and see them because they’re whining to see who’s there |

Mine are the same. Though nobody could complain about a greeting from dogs! Although they do know how to ruin a mood with the whining don't they |

Kind of derailing the thread now haha but I would be too. Great sex, and then followed by great company with the dogs (and you of course) . What's not to like about that! |

I don't accommodate, I have 2 teenagers living at home, who appear & disappear at random.
I have 2 other grown children, with keys to my house who often pop in on passing.
I've only invited 2 people into my house, 1 robbed me, the other I trust with my life.

I can't accommodate because I'm a live-in carer for my mum.
I do drive so can travel but only up to about an hour drive away. I can't go too far because I have to make sure I'm home in time to look after mum |

I really enjoy the club scene and feel it safer and were of a night out for me to only meet by chance in clubs, therefore I don't travel or accommodate.
I do travel to clubs but there isn't an option for that so I just put I don't travel as I won't travel just to meet someone only to attend a club.
Unless I know someone in person I won't arrange to meet them in a club, as I feel it would be really awkward if we just didn't get along.
So I just go along and chat to whoever is there. If it leads to anything more intimate, that's lovely but I don't go out with the intention of looking for that, just having a fun night out in a liberated environment, dressing how I want and watching all the fun around me. |

I lock them in the living room when my LTP comes over and they whine the whole time he's here. I tried giving them a ham bone each but they get bored chewing on it, and want to meet the visitor.
I can't imagine what 4 dogs would be like. |

It does count.
I have visions of you majestically making your way round Scotland in your private bus, waving as you go. |

Luckily they’re quite small and they tend to give up quickly enough, but they’ve learned this new thing which I call ‘going psycho’, which is when they all howl in tune with each other |

Aha, that’s funny! Where my FIL lives it is nowhere near a bus stop or bus route, but he just nipped in, popped his teeth in (it’s jusy his front teeth!) and got back to driving |

Anyone coming here has to accept the rats. They are caged when someone comes over but they are there.
I also have 2 small tanks of land snails in my bedroom.
I must do a super tidy too. With being ill I haven't felt like it. |

I can when they're jumping up at me,especially if I have holdups on. Here's me trying to look nice when 2 minutes through the door I'm smelling of dog with ripped holdups! |

I very rarely accommodate due to a teenager residing here.
But I love to travel and have the freedom to do so, it's always risky if the first meet is a distance but I always have a back up plan just incase I don't like the person in question. |

I dont drive so rely on public transport so will only travel very local"

We can travel. But don't accommodate. Primarily because we live in a house of flux! Between renovations and Ms Kink's business. Stuff is constantly lying around and we don't feel it is a friendly environment to meet people in. Though hoping to change that.

When I was actively meeting as a single and living in London I'd do either but I would rarely travel anywhere that wasn't easily accessible in London. Oddly one of the few exceptions I made to that rule saw me move out of London.
But as a couple neither accommodate nor travel, clubs all the way |

We don't accommodate but will travel. We won't accommodate because we have children and also due to a past experience I (Leanne) had when I was single where someone I had invited round to my place when I was single just turned up at my door uninvited one day just because they were "passing by" and thought they would take a chance. Can't have this happening when we have children in the house.
We are therefor happy to travel or book a hotel and accommodate there. xx |

You do realise you've confused 2 whole generations with that comment Ace.
1. The ones born in the 80's who still spoke english saying: What is he talking about?
2. The ones born in the 00's who all seem to speak (I believe the term is) Gangsta saying: Wass e talkin abaht bro, Y do e need 2 clutches yah know what I mean bro am confused bro
Will now await comments from both my generation and the pc brigade

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else |
I was never particularly comfortable accommodating - it's my space, my stuff, and while it's not a hovel, the additional pressure to tidy up wasn't conducive to feeling horny.
Then I had a stalker-ish experience. Since then, never again.
Every few months I will get a message from a random couple (usually, can be a single fem) along the lines of "go on then, entertain us, why can't YOU accommodate?", and I've learnt that such people are immune to reason, so there's no point trying and therefore nonsensical answers are the way forward. |
