Reading-disappear into a another world, experiencing something through the eyes of the author without the inconvenience of having to plan or physically go or do anything.

Amongst many others.

I'm trying to write a screenplay about Everton leaving Goodison park. Funny mostly but sentimental too. I've got the basic outline, just need to flesh it out a bit. I put the idea to a theatre group who also want me to try and write it for them. So I have to do it this year. Fingers crossed x

I'm on a bit of a learning journey at the moment so that's kind of my hobbies I guess. I've just completed my level 3 Diploma in Counselling, BSL, and Reiki Healing, I'm studying Buddhism and I'm about to begin a Child Psychology course.

There's a book out there called something like, how to mess up your kids with skill. It's basically everything not to do. It's very funny, and I know a child psychologist who recommends it to more self aware parents.

I started off making candles about a year or so ago but then moved onto making scented wax melts.

Last April I turned that hobby into a business. I still make BDSM candles as a hobby and walking my dog also relaxes me but I'm lucky that my main hobby is also my job

Out of curiosity, what's a BDSM candle?

Candles that are made specifically for dripping on people. They burn at a lower temperature than most shop bought candles

The gym, cycling, paintballing, hiking, computer games, reading, playing guitar and being an army reservist, I struggle to fit them all in so go through phases with most of them barring the army which goes a bit further than being a hobby and takes up a lot of my "free" time.

Hefty Hideaway

Reading tends to be my go to hobby. I’m also a budding spoken word artist or talky poet (see there’s a reason I talk so much) so you can always find me muttering in a corner

I love letting the words loose on my tongue and seeing how they flow. The subject tends to be comic (well it makes me laugh) so it entertains me for hours.

But isn't that why you read more into it to get well versed? I couldn't play a single chord when I first bought a guitar and it took weeks before I could even string a recognisable tune together (badly)

Taetwondo, (2nd Dan belt ), kickboxing and cycling. Enjoy the solo riding the best, other people just spoil my mojo. And who doesn't like punching/kicking people in the face and not getting into trouble for it! I guess I'm not a team sports kind of guy!
