So - one thing I’ve noticed on here.... It seems to be fine for women to criticise men and belittle them. But if the reverse is done it’s the absolute biggest sin of all. In fact, I don’t really think I’ve seen it happen in the reverse that often.
Why is that?

I don't think either is right tbf. Everyone should have the right to go about their fab business without criticism or shame.
Fwiw, it's a shame that different genders get different responses to similar situations. I always try and be objective regardless. |

We don't all think it's acceptable. The amount of threads by women, criticising men, compared to men criticising women doesn't reflect the demograph on Fab.
Maybe because men don't want to upset women and women don't give a shit. Or women are naturally more nasty and moany than men.

Couldn't care less if you have tits or a dick.
Nobody is superior based on gender and I'll gladly treat both the same.
It's just numbers that make it seem uneven, but there are probably more men not helping their own cause by sucking up to some women when they'd be better served being honest and disagreeing with them. Never in the history of fab has a white knight snaffled themselves a shag by sucking up in the forums...trust me.

Yep.
It's always been the same. From both genders. There'll always be flirting - fuck me - I was as guilty as any back in the day. But the depth to which tongues dive into arseholes in the hope of gaining brownie points has certainly increased.
The simple fact remains that some feel superior because of looks, cock size, tit size or apparent 'popularity' in the forums. Others think that because their inboxes are overflowing they can afford to put others down without affecting their chances of a meet. Some couples think singles don't belong in the world of swinging, so see men as easy targets of disdain.
There's no pecking order. No rank of superiority. Those that think they're above others will one day find themselves on the recieving end of the same treatment they dish out. And any guy who puts up with being treated as a second class citizen in pursuit of a shag has nobody to blame but himself.

BUT....I do believe it is acceptable to challenge anyone on their behaviour, male or female, and there is plenty of unacceptable behaviour on fab, from both sexes.
And yes, more women will all agree a certain behaviour is wrong, whereas the white knights will simply ignore it to chance their arm. |

Critique is fine. It should be welcomed. I agree though.
Some people instantly take things personal or misinterpret something that is said. Some people make sweeping generalisations. Some people get very rude and hostile over things. And some people do all of the above and feel the need to shout about it sometimes quite aggressive. |

It's never acceptable OP. Anyone who criticises or belittles another can never be sure what impact it has whether female or male.
It also speaks volumes about the person doing it and how they might be during a meet. Take it as an early warning signal to decide if it's a risk worth taking. |

I don't think its acceptable for women to criticise men just because they are men or vise versa. However some behavior needs challenging. Having said that sometimes its easy to misunderstand someone's point or get the wrong impression of someone. Iv been guilty this a few times. I think the key is, its perfectly possible to strongly disagree with someone and put your point across without deliberately try to Shame, belittle or offend. |

Because men, centuries ago were (and some presently of course) total assholes does not mean women need to use that voice to give out the same abuse for the sake of it.
Continuing the "it happened in the past" theme, should it not make more sense that women try to remove forms of abuse instead of Contributing to it.
It is possible for women to have and use that voice without resorting to dishing out abuse at all.
Nobody should - that is the point the majority of us here are saying. We don't all have to get along but we can do so without being hostile and throwing insults and abuse. |

A work colleague of mine went to a job and the woman there spoke to him like a piece of shit because he had the audacity to defend himself,she put in a complaint and the company I work for put him on a final warning.
Even though he did absolutely nothing wrong and was not rude to her !
In my humble opinion the pendulum has swung too far in the other direction in terms of equality.

I'd say the reason is pretty basic and goes back to the ratio of men:women on here.
Guys have to compete to speak to any woman really, where as women of all shapes and sizes have the power therefore can speak their mind. Guys don't wanna put any women off by being perceived as nasty.
Fab is different from most walks of life. Best not to take seriously. |

The OP referred to belittling as well as criticism and women doing that to men so I have interpreted it in that context.
There is such a thing as constructive criticism obviously, would you find that on here? On occasion yes, but do you really want a group of strangers on a sex site to criticise you? I’m not sure how constructive that would be. Who knows. |

I have on many occasions called out women on thread's where they have said a comment that everyone has ignored,but if a male had said it ww3 would have broken out.
An example of double standards.
In the thread said female commented on if a guy had a small penis and said if a guy had a cock the size of a button mushroom and so on..
Very derogatory and frankly rude.
Problem is the white Knights and hopefuls who always side with the female no matter how vile the comments,how good-looking or not the female is they think that it will look good on them siding with the female in the hope of a shag or maybe other who may like their sycophantic nature.
I think if a few guy's grew a backbone and actually started calling women out on their comments it may not happen so much.
Ironically all this about equality and so on.
And in the real world in India thousands of women are protesting for real reasons and genuinely deserve equality with men.
Whilst on fabs, forum go into meltdown if a guy dare use the f word in a post.
