On the BBC

Madness

Where did they dig them up from?

What utter rubbish and even the fireworks were naff compared to previous years.

I thought the fireworks were good but the BBC were definitely scraping the bottom of the barrel with Madness!

I thought the fireworks were amazing as well. The money they must’ve cost!

The fireworks were great but I think slightly shorter than previous years.

I prefer Hootenanny!

Apparently around 2.8m. Not sure that's right morally especially with the stated homelessness in London and those less fortunate. A great display but wow. Expensive.

With tickets starting from £10 each 100 thousand spectators, all tickets sold out. People could arrive from 4pm can imagine the food stalls and merchandise and drinks in bars bought. Safe to say they made their money back.

We had our reservation at our favourite restaurant cancelled two days before so just stayed at home.

It was a sad offering that’s for sure.
