Just saved £71 by booking rail fares a month in advance total cost for the 2 of us (including booking fee) Norwich/London £21 couldn't possibly do it for that in the car fuel alone would cost £50ish plus London parking it's a bargain I tell ya its a bargin! |

lol, we go more by train now more than we do by car if we are going a distance. Can save a fortune, plus your guaranteed a seat. |

My son and his girlfriend moved to Liverpool, they found it was almost half the day price if they went at silly times i.e. early in the morning or late at night. During the day, it was cheaper to drive there and back |

nope used my priority club reward points and got hotel for nothing, will probably have to pay for a meal at some stage but might even get eats at the event we are going to. |

Its like booking flights, a little time at trying out variations in day/time can pay dividends.
Hotels too, being flexible and taking a gamble on things like Secret Hotels can work well.
Bargain of the year, was a business class seat and return to middle america for £1006 from BA in December. |

few years back when easy jet were doing the promotions thingys..
Hubs booked his flights six months in advance and was flying from to scotland to london for about a Tenner each way !!
bargain of the century at the time as he knew when he was working down in london and coming home up to a year in advance..
Last time he got a cheap flight to london it was about 50 quid.. |
