So, here we are, the last day of 2018, most people feel the need to let the new year in with a bang, go to their local pub or travel in to the city and have a ruddy good time with friends getting d*unk........ and then there’s those, like myself, who prefer to treat today like any other, go to bed at the usual time and wake up tomorrow morning with a clear head and read to potter on with the new day.
So, which are you, are you in or out? |

that was my last new years out, at a mates house for the millennium, his mum wasn’t pleased cause by 12.30 pretty much everyone had gone home, sums it all up really |

I'm in, going out is too much hassle.
I'm not feeling great so I'll make myself something nice for dinner then cuddle up with my cats & go to sleep. I'm looking forward to it. |

Concert Square! oh god that’s the one place i always avoid, for whatever reason there’s always kick offs there, my son goes to town a few times throughout the year and keeps well away from that area, seems to be the very young that go there, hoping it’s not like that tonight though. |

if she has a good sensible group of friends that look out for each other im sure she will be ok, my last comment was probably more harsher than it needed to be, ive not heard anything bad in concert square for a while now, there was a time a few years back though where it was a no go area |

I've never had any problem with Concert Square. As long as she won't drink over her limits and stick together with her friends she should be fine
Aaand I'm working tomorrow so it's a night in for us.

I will be staying in tonight. It's just a normal evening for me being a carer - we don't get time off over the festive period.
If I did take my mum out somewhere I can't have a drink because of driving so at least if we stay home I can have a small tipple. |
