Hope your interview went well, the nerves have all but ceased and even if you don't get the position the experience of recent interviewing techniques have given you the tools for future applications. |

thanks very much, I was like a bag a nerves before I went in but when I realised what the job involved the nerves worsened, it will be a massive responsibility on a national scale if I get the position. |

Well if it's not beyond you then you've a chance. If you are not offered it don't dismay. There may be someone better slightly, either experience or the criteria they have been appointed to select.
