Is it possible to delete threads on here I didn’t think we could but an interesting thread i was reading just disappeared

I think if it gets too long OP then it gets closed. I’m not sure if they delete them if they break the rules??

Most threads time out at 175 ish, but the mods regularly delete a thread for several reasons one being at the request of the Op or when the subject is outside of the rules or its a feeding frenzy..

When they get to 175 they get automatically closed due to size. Threads can be closed by mods or removed if they break rules and avvounts suspended. I'm assuming this is their choice, as directed by admin as to what action to take.

There are two that have just disappeared. I've posted in both of them but they didn't seem particularly nasty, then that was about an hour ago.

Someone suggested her pics were off a porn site. Her profile was suspended so I suspect whoever that was had reported the pics, and the threads were removed.

I do understand why accounts are suspended while it's looked into but it does seem a little bit unfair that somebody can make any kind of accusation and then account get suspended but I guess there isn't really any other way of doing it.

An account won't be suspended just because someone reports it. My next post will say how reports are dealt with then I will close the thread.

Here is an explanation from Admin from another thread on how they deal with reports.

******Just a quick note. If people report others and we can verify that they have broken site rules, we always take action (either a first and final warning, partially suspended account, fully suspended, mixture of the above).

Every single report sent via the REPORT link is reviewed. Clearly it's not in our interests to have people on here who are bad for the site. Equally we need to verify what has been reported and be fair to those who have been reported.

PS. we never provide feedback on what has happened. It's just not practical given that we get 100s of reports a day.

Here is what the page says after a report has been submitted:

Your feedback has been saved.

A website admin will shortly review your feedback and take the necessary action. After reviewing the evidence available to us, we may disable an account, remove a user, disable certain aspects of that user's account or issue a warning.

By leaving feedback you help improve the site for everyone who uses it. Thank you.******
