we both went to Highbury as season ticket holders when we lived down south and saw him week in week out, our one season at the Emirates was also his final season

rubbish game, quality finish, dodgy beard (was it nicholas anelka?)

onto the Villa tie and to further edge McLiesh to the jobcentre xx

Times are baaaaaaad. Things had better improve too or Cotterill won't last neither. This was a good squad under Jimmy Krankie.

Aaaaaanyway apologies Fabio, back to Terry Henry

Scholes back, Henry back...

Andre Villas-Boas must be watching Torres and wondering if Zola still has his boots handy.

Sparky may have been at QPR for 5 hours but he actually went in to Loftus rd then used a secret tunnel to go to the bridge...

where he spent time with 'El Sulko' sayin (en espanol of course)..

Sad to see a club brining back someone who is past it just to appease the fans for selling 2 top class stars last summer. New top class blood is needed.

He's not past it look at Sheringham. i know he never had Terrys pace but with that football brain he like Teddy can unlock defences and still has a great eye for goal. Few have his finishing expertise. i think he'll be a bit part player in case it conflicts with RVP's form.

Come on if he wasn't passed it he wouldn't be playing in the US.

Listening to the game it sounded like the crowd were trying to bring the roof down when he scored!

He might not be in his prime and he might not be as fast as he once was but he still knows where the back of the net is unlike a certain Russian and a Moroccan!

So what about Beckham when he was in LA and still got capped for England? Landon Donovan is a key man for Everton is he past it? Anelka and poss Drogba are china bound, are they past it? Henrik Larsson was a huge success at Man Utd when he went back to play in Sweden, was he past it??

That's a silly thing to say! Henry would get on the bench for EVERY premier league side with the possible exclusion of Man City

As a Leeds United supporter last night couldn't have been scripted any better.

Probably the best striker to grace the premiership. I've seen him at Elland Road for Arsenal and loved scoring against us Leeds.

Good on him for last night too.

Virgin Media are giving ESPN free until Feb 3rd. I agree though, Henry is certianly an iconic player and he's never looked right in anything other than an Arsenal shirt. Nice to see him back.

From a Manc Red.

The only reason I would ever watch a game of footie let alone The Gooner's. The 'Man' makes me go weak at the knee's.
