For the Ladies.
What does/doesn't impress you on here? Regarding profiles and messages. Do people show or say about nice cars, having lots of cash, big house, vain... does it impress you (much)?
I don't have a nice car, lots of cash, big house. I definitely ain't vain and I don't look like Brad Pitt! But I will guarantee to keep you warm in the middle of the night!   |

None of that kind of stuff has any relevance to the connection I’m trying to build with someone anyway.
If they think it does then they’re not the person for me, that doesn’t impress me at all.
They’re not listening when we’re conversing if they come away at any time and think material things are gonna impress me, if they feel they have to do anything to try and impress me then they just haven’t understood what it is I find attractive in someone.

It does seem a few of his "haters" still trying to have digs. He has not posted for a long time. Therefore would be nice for those people to let that go now...
Yes he bragged, was in your face kind of thing and made mistakes. Big time! Was disrespectful towards fellow fabbers, but you knew exactly where you stood with him. At least you can decide to engage with him or not knowing he tells it like he means it... good or bad.
What don't impress me is:
The ones who pretend to be something they are not. Trying to blend in with the crowd, but really deception comes natural to them and being a compulsive liar is the norm  
Once I know the truth I have to avoid the tricksters! They can cause you problems if you let your guard down. |

Things that impress us:
1) People who have made an effort to read our profile and write a decent introductory message.
2) People who show a genuine interest in what we want/don't want and a willingness to talk openly about what they are looking for too.
3) People who can hold a good conversation.
4) Extra points for making us laugh, having manners and/or having some geeky trivia knowledge.
5) A well written, detailed and honest profile.
6) People who respect our boundaries and dynamic.
Things that don't impress us:
1) Pushy or abusive messages.
2) Random "meet now?" and generic copy and paste messages.
3) People who ignore that we're a couple and only talk to one of us or disrespect our relationship.
4) God complexes.
5) Random friend requests without even talking to us (the key word there is "friend" lol).
6) People who are cheating, not swinging (one is without a partners knowledge, the other is with a partner's consent). |
