Surely the point of being on call, means being available to respond promptly & in a capable capacity? "
It was a call to see if I was available to go in tomorrow as I have a lift I can do it i dont get paid for being on call or anything it might only be half hour job not a heavy drinker but a few beers is a few beers |

if on call, no matter what kind of job you do, it’s a bit irresponsible to have a few drinks don’t you think, as for banning working over the christmas period, maybe in an alternative universe but no, it just wouldn’t happen ever in this one. |
