It’s a swinging site. It’s where people go to chat to others of a like mind can go to look for consensual sex when they are in a relationships and the singles should respect and understand that. Sadly a lot of the singles, not-actually-singles and even some couples don’t seem to get it.

Swingers will use it for swinging. The rest of us will use it for casual sex. Or coffee. Or being a nause on the forums.
It ceased to be a ‘purely’ swinging site AGEEEEESSSSS ago. Whatever that is.
Hopefully the Swingers will be along to tell us shortly, although Wikipedia says it is the following :
Swinging, sometimes called wife swapping, husband swapping or partner swapping, is a non-monogamous behavior in which both singles and partners in a committed relationship engage in sexual activities with others as a recreational or social activity.[1] Swinging is a form of open relationship.
Mind you any numpty can edit Wiki can’t rhey so who knows? |

Well that last sentence is why I’m on Fab. And it’s worked for me. So maybe it isn’t *just* a swinging site then, it’s a sex site too! |

Ultimately it's a sex site regardless of what your definition of swinging is (and that's a huge debate in itself) given that swinging has at it's core sex as its purpose.
I use the site to suit my needs and meet people of a like mind, which it enables me to do, and don't really feel the need to define it further than that. |

The site is whatever somebody wants it to be. A swingers site to some, a sex site to others and many other things as well.
Ultitely if it works for you then great, if it doesn't work for you then fuck off and find a site that does don't whinge and moan about it. |

I play as a single, I’ve played as part of a couple, I’ve been to parties and clubs. I’ve had 1 to 1 meets, 3sums and moresums.
I’ve also been sub to a Dom and a Domme and I’ve dabbled in being a Domme.

I think the dictionary version of swinging is now all but dissolved, certainly in the context of this site.
I think those couples that attend clubs, house parties etc. are swingers. The rest of us are just shagabouters.
I'm not sure Fab would have too much of an impact on the lifestyle of 'true' swingers other than it brings new people to the scene - that in itself is a double edged sword |

Both. It’s also a picture swapping site, a cam site, a chat site, a talking bollocks but sometimes good advice site, a stalking site, a hilarious respite from the real world site and a site where you can grab a virtual drink and a hug.

It's a sex site pure and simple. It's used by couples to meet couples, couples to meet singles and singles to meet singles.
Some will argue it's for morally superior interactions. This is nonsense. Society in general will see nothing moral in swinging. And neither does it mean that couples are any better than singles or have 'higher standards'.
In it's simplest terms it's a site for anyone who enjoys recreational sex with like-minded people ... whether as a couple or single. |

the beauty of the site is that it is big enough so that whatever YOU think the site is, you'll find people that will agree with you... and concentrate on those people!
some people just feel like they have to be everything to everyone....its not a popularity contest!!! its finding like minded people! |
