so, the one thing i asked for this year was an extendable window cleaner so i can do the first floor of our house, you can plug the hose pipe in to it so you can get continuous water from the brush as you clean, it’s not an exciting gift my any means but it was something i wanted as i can’t go up ladders cause i’m scared of heights and finding a window cleaner round here has been an impossible task.
So did you get any practical gifts this year? |

Nothing practical this year but I did once get a fancy wheel barrow... rationale being it would make mucking out a stable easier... i’d have preferred jewelry |

We bought a new hoover, because the old one wasn't good enough for all the carpets.
But I also got Clone-A-Willy - cock mold so I can make a clone of Cute's cock for lonely days when he's away. That's practical too...right?

I got a new cordless hoover.
Perfect present from my mum.
Many years back, my (now) ex asked me what I wanted.
A drill.
He laughed, as a builder he thought it an odd request. Pointed out he had a van full of tools.
I was fed up waiting for him to come home & do little jobs I coukd easily do.
I didn't get the drill.
I asked again at valentines, mother's day & my birthday. No drill.
My mum gave me money for my birthday. I bought my own drill.
12yrs later it's still going strong, unlike my marriage |

There's a lesson in there for sure!

I always get things like pyjamas, socks and this year gym clothes. The most practical gifts were probably last years. I was moving out into my first unfurnished non-houseshare place so my mum got me a microwave, toaster and kettle for Christmas. |
