What was the best and worst present you or a family member received yesterday.

Doesn't have to be monetary value related.

The best was a new chef’s knife, it’s great.

The worst was an Advent Calendar. I was like “WTF?”

Manchester (she/her)

Not this year, but I once received a generic (useful, lol) voucher with the comment that I'd have got something more personal if I weren't such a bitch.

How does that happen?

Best was a Pandora charm of the Disney castle.

I really didn't have a bad gift. I didn't get many gifts this year but they were all suitable for me and my likes. Even the Christmas cracker gave me measuring spoons which I'll keep

Think him and the shop assistant must've just been a bit flustered pre Xmas and didn't check.

I dont have a worst present but my dad is a sculpturer and has amazing statues he's made over the years out of Icelandic sandstone. He let us pick our favourite ones to take back with us to the UK. Most meaningful present I've ever had.

Couldn't tell ya. I was at work yesterday, didn't see any family and didn't get any presents.

So, I'm gonna have to go with.... nothing

I only had two presents this year

One was a Molton Brown gift pack off a colleague, which was kinda nice, unexpected and kinda 'weird' at the same time

The other was a watercolour painting of my dog that my other halfs sister & her partner commissioned

It's awesome and is perhaps one of the most thoughtful gifts I've ever received

Mine was that someone I love, I thought they wouldn’t make it to Christmas Day, but they’ve surprised the doctors. Still in hospital and not sure how long they have left, but they should be out to at least spend some time at home.

Most thoughtful was a pair of Bluetooth running headphones from my daughter. She knows I've been struggling to get back into my running, and getting a bit down about the fact, so she bought them to try and encourage and motivate me to get back out there. Love her to bits xxx
