I’ve been having a look online today while waiting for my Christmas dinner (I worked yesterday).
Proof you have to shop around I’m looking for trainers for work my Adidas unicorns from last Christmas although not worn a lot seem to have lost the white on them anyway I’m buying some new ones.
Rebook classics in suede selfridges £48 sale price exactly the same pair in next £26.
Proof some shops inflate prices. |

I've not been on principle to what retail on boxing day does to their workers....
They've had poxy Xmas music in Thier ears for 6 weeks
Idiotic customers asking... Do you gift wrap this £15 item
Worked whilst 10 and 11pm in Christmas eve.... Then!.. Had to be back in store 8am boxing day to sell the same worthless crap again along with giving refunds to the worthless crap bought the week before.
Do you realy think our retail staff look forward to Xmas??? I'd dread it September onwards if I worked there
What ever it is you need to buy, can't it wait till any of the 364 other days of the year and let retail staff have at least 2 days at home when so many of us has a week or 2 at this time of year.
I seriously don't belive shops should be open... At all on boxing day... The nation should be spending "time", not nessarley with family, maybe your friends/partner or on your own if you like... Not money.

I have to agree with you..
I was actually happy to see Tesco closed today.
I don't normally go out Boxing day, the only reason I went today.
I'm driving home tomorrow, straight back to work then working all New Yr week and there isn't a Decathlon near me.
I work in hospitality, I know how it feels to be expected to work on days you'd rather be with family. |

That was a lovely present from your friend. Look forward to seeing teapot at STP.
I had already done my "sales" shopping on Black Friday so sat out the mayhem of Boxing day this time round. I may look into the New Year sales though... |

Well jesus that was experience that I didn’t want to do Jd Sports and Adidas was mental. Ended up buying one top, looked at another but may hold on it. There was a nice navy top but not in my size. Ended up with a black bb adidas top. It goes with a few football shirts I have |

I agree. If people didn't go shopping on boxing day to buy more of the same crap they were buying Christmas eve. Retailers would see that it is not worth opening their doors boxing day and giving their staff 2 days off.
Thank you |

I work in retail, they decided not to open Boxing Day for the first time in around 5/6 years. I can't tell you what a difference it made knowing you didn't have to go in!
I nipped out to a retail park this afternoon on the hunt for some boots and a coat. Came home with bugger all |

"A new ski jacket but I won't go out and buy in the sales as a rule. Next looks like a jumble sale at best and most of it stuff that was never on sale before Christmas anyway!!! "
something in that.
as i find in clothes stores people just try on anything, stretch it, throw it down instead of placing it back on the hook.
they go crazy at sale time |

It might be relaxing but I have neither the time or the space to start that, I'd rather be firing them in my spare time than making them |
