I don't gift at Christmas
My nearest & dearest get gifts throughout the year
Things I know they'd like or need
I also tell people not to buy me stuff either
What I usually want is expensive and I wouldn't want people spending lots on me
By the same token, I don't need any more socks or Lynx Africa box sets |

...forgot to add it’s usually a couple of small, thoughtful things. One of the grandchildren loves mint sauce so she gets a posh jar of that and I found marbles in a charity shop for another.
The youngest one was mesmerised over some shiny stones so he has those. |

I tend to buy things I know people will use rather than give to a raffle or shove in a cupboard.
If I had the funds I'd happily go extravagant and get people things I know they want but wouldn't spoil themselves with
