Only if thise that inherited them sold them on cheaply.
There's a shortage so huuuuuge that it would take a large population cull to reduce them to being dirt cheap.
Of course in the event of a worldwide plague/virus I suspect we'd all be busy raiding Tesco's for cans and squatting anyhoo....

No. There's loads of empty properties in London that have sat there for up to years, because foreign investors in our property market have abandoned ship, and no-one else will pay the ridiculous prices.
