Thanks- I must be mad!
But my daughter saw Santa on Saturday and asked for something completely different to "The List"!!"
it’s tradition for kids to hit you with a completely different list a week before the big day from the one they gave you over a month ago  |

"Remember take a bat to fight over turkeys"
I remember one year when I worked for Waitrose- they discounted the turkeys and I bought a couple before all the tight rich old bats got their paws on them and gave them to the YMCA! |

See in my house Santa doesn't work to last minute changes. Once a list has been sent... that's it. I'm really lucky this year in that both of mine have said they don't mind what they get.

Have a good one! I will be able to feel smug when I can finally tell Argos to go fuck themselves after I collect from Currys shortly!
(Long story short, travelled 60 mile round trip yesterday to collect a paid for item, only for the store to be shut due to technical issues. Located another one through Currys this morning also paid for and once I have it, Argos are getting a strongly worded email!) |

Be glad it's not a food shop - the queues yesterday were all the way down the aisle. Half the shop's stock was inaccessible due to the people paying for the other half.
Also, for balance - Currys are arses as well, so beware! |
