Does it say everything that you're looking for? Or do you hold some things back?
For mystery? Because people will say they're into the same things just to get a meet? Perhaps you're ashamed? Private?

Mine couldn't be any more direct, but I would estimate that less than 1% of messages I get are from people who've actually read it.anf of that 1% even less have chosen not to ignore what it says! |

I have been truthful in what on mine, but it's more a case do others think I'm making it up or not.. |

I've had several profiles over the time I've been on here - and it makes no difference to the messages I receive.
I had one a long while ago that had one word " bollocks "
Same messages 
Then I had a few more words
" don't be a knob head "
Guess what - loads of knob heads messaged me
So mine is as honest as it's going to get now - I live in hope |

Mines totally legit. That's prob why I don't get much attention. Being a shy guy puts people off I guess. But there's no point in trying to be something I'm not. I'll soon get caught out when I'm leaving the party early. |

We're truthful about what we want and offer. However I'm only 5ft half and inch and it says 5ft 1inch, our names aren't Mr and Mrs Nicecouple561 and our dates of birth are out by a month or two.

We'd like to think that we are in the same place as this.
We say enough, about what we are like and what we want but leave room for potential suitors to discuss and discover.
We really aren't in to sex by numbers, preferring a more organic relationship that can evolve.

To a point yes, but not entirely open about everything. Whether that counts as truthful I don't think is the case since there are many elements of my life I haven't mentioned on my profile so just because some information is held back, does that really make it not truthful?
Semantics maybe. |

My profile reflects my mood and outlook at the time
Up for meets, it's 'fuller'
Not meeting, it's 'basic'
Profiles should be dynamic in that respect (imho) |

No point in trying to get meets, if I turned up, and it turned out I'm not what they are looking for.
And anyone who can't read to the end of my magnificent octopus of a profile has a short attention span, which is normally a red flag for me. |

Think ours gives a holistic view of who we are.
Even our private face photos are unglamed everyday representations i.e. this is as bad as it gets.
Which possibly explains one of our veri comments. |

I think mine is very clear, as to what I'm looking and not looking for.
I got told once, "parts are quite negative & ranty, which is the opposite of what you're actually like"
Maybe, but it means I can copy & paste those lines back to people, who send 'I've looked at your profile' messages, thst shows they havn't

At least 3 things on my profile are true. I see no harm in not mentioning things. People don't need to know I collect cheese and wear odd socks. |
