Does anyone else have a 26"/27" inside leg (apart from soapy) if so where can i get a good pair of jeans or trousers from. Ive got one decent pair of trousers that i had taken up. But i wondered if anyone knew of anywhere.

The only place i can find trousers is foggy shops like bon marche. I just want a good pair

You need to look online for shops that do a 'petite' range or failing that, google it. Wish you luck

What is a foggy shop? Never heard the term in my life. If I cast my mind back to it there was a bloke off Last of the summer wine called Foggy. Has he branched out into retail now?

I don't wear trousers very often, I don't like them particularly and I'm not tall so I'd struggle with trousers. However the short length are ok foe me as I'd wear heels anyway and I can't stands trousers that are too short.

I've cracked the jeans problem though. Again I don't like jeans but if I do wear them, I always have skinny jeans which I'd pull knee high boots over so therefore it doesn't matter so much what the length is

Oh yes it would be, I'm sure you'd look great.

I'm a big girl and don't have tiny legs but amazingly I look slimmer in skinny jeans than I do wider leg ones.

sorry i have to disagree, in my opinion and it is just my opinion. Big girls shouldnt wear, maxi dresses, leggings, jeggins or skinny jeans

Mark is a 29, and i just take his trousers up for him if he finds a nice pair that he likes.

I have the exact opposite problem to you that my legs are too long, and you cant magic up more material

Some big girls shouldnt.. and i look great in a maxi dress.. because im tall... if i am lucky enough to find one long enough lol. but there are alot of women out there who should learn to dress themselves and their bodies.. not to the fashion..

I agree that some big girls shouldn't wear certain items, ie, leggings with short tshirts.

It really does depend on your body shape. I am curvy and therefore dresses that cling to those curves suit me. I can't wear short floaty dresses as they make me look bigger. I can't wear wider legged trousers or jeans, they make me look shorter than what I am. I can't wear light coloured jeans. I can't wear very low cut jeans as they sit on the worst part of me which is my lower tummy.

But good quality well cut jeans which are slim fitted and cling to my hips work for me, and I'd wear a clingyish top to emphasise my waist and hips. My legs aren't tiny but they do have shape, I agree that girls who have thick ankles should not wear skinny jeans.

Its knowing your body shape and knowing what works to emphasise the good points and if you know that, there's lots of styles that can be worn. Its not true that bigger needs to hide in Demis Roussos type tents. Though admittedly the bigger the size, you do have to be careful. I find its more the case that bigger girls can't pull off cheaper fabrics and clothes
