Ever wanted to get someone a surprise Christmas present but realise that you can't afford it and feel let down?
I've really let myself down as I like to get my brother a surprise present for Christmas without him knowing. Last year, I got him a Nintendo console and this year, I was gonna get him a PSVR for £199.99 that me and my dad were gonna go halves on but as I said, I can't afford it. Oh well |

"look on the plus side. He wont miss what he didnt know he was going to get"
I guess so. Now that I think about, I don't think my brother would have been into playing virtual reality games. |

Would the PSVR work on a Nintendo console?
I'm gutted every year that I can't buy Fox a huge lavish car for me to occasionally drive her around in or a really expensive camera for me to take the occasional photo of her on, or any number of really nice things that i'd like......I mean she'd like. Obviously.

That is a sad shame. I doubt a PSVR would work on a Nintendo as it's for the PS4. The Nintendo I got him last year was actually an NES console. |

"My youngest son wants a penguin.
One of those I can afford, it's the pool it'll need I can't.
He'll have to make do with another year's adoption at the local zoo.
One day I'll build the pool... "
solution: put a load of sheeting over the freezer and leave the door open. get a big paddling pool from argos.
done and done |

Have you thought of a zoo keeper experience for him?

I'm in the middle of building work, my freezer is currently in the living room, along with everything else.. Barely room to swing the chihuahua!
I've got a 100' garden... There will be a pool, one day |

"so what you getting him now then op"
I'll probably get him a few smaller presents which I'm sure he'll like. I've already got him a good bunch of presents when I got paid a few weeks ago and will be getting paid again tomorrow so will do some more shopping tomorrow and on Sunday. |

That seems like a hell of a lot of money. My family spend about £20 on adult presents (kids might get a bit more spent).
Me and my brother agreed yers ago that buying each other presents was daft, so we don't. |

OP, I had a PSVR earlier this year, I ended up returning it as I couldn’t find any games to play that didn’t make me motion sick in the first 5 minuets. |
