Hiding in the shadows

I was supposed to be spending the week with my mum in the Midlands.

Christmas eve I'll now be driving home, working my shift then hopefully getting back to my mum's before my kids wake up. 450mile round trip

Merry fucking Christmas!

Back home 27th, working from 28th to 6th Jan

Somebodies got to keep the d*unks of Sussex happy & safe

Xmas day 8am-10pm on call.

Boxing day should be in the office 2-10, but will probably 'work from home' from about 6pm.

We were, then weren't, so now will, but not for pay... Volunteering at a local Community Centre, doing Christmas lunch.

Our Christmas with the kids will be Boxing day

Paisley

I’m off from Christmas Eve until the 4th.

I do have friends who will be working over the festivities. One works in a hospital lab an often forgotten aspect of the health service.

I used to work in a shop when I was a teenager so I know what it’s like to deal with shoppers at this busy time. Can get a bit manic and long hours.

Manchester (he/him)

I'm not, but all those that do have my sympathy, I worked Christmas and New year for many years and understand how stressful and hard it can be.
