I’ve never seen them for sale in the UK but in Holland you can buy boxes of vaginal sponges that are placed inside the female to soak up the period...worth keeping a box handy if you’re female |

3 ibuprofen tablets about 6 hours beforea nd it will be gone for the evening. It's a common side effect of ibuprofen and can be used to advantage. Done it on many occasions

That seems risky 
I’d rather just cancel (I don’t fuck anyone but hubby when I’m on my period) and let nature get on with itself than try and stop it |

I get people wouldn’t want to meet when someone has their period but generally do lads care if it’s wife/gf? Doesn’t bother hubby or I but I’m curious! I’d be raging if I had organised fun and got mine but usually try to make sure I time it right!! |

Why is it risky? 3 tablets is a normally prescribed dose and a lot of people get this side effect anyway. Obviously if you can't take ibuprofen due to asthma or other reasons, then don't do it. Obviously don't do it every month either. But once in a while is fine. No different from stopping your periods with the pill.

I need to conduct an experiment to see if they can be felt during sex when in. I had a practise alone but couldnt shove it in very far. It has to be noticeable  |

I used tranexamic acid to reduce my heavy periods caused by fibroids. They form clots to lighten the flow but won't stop it completely.

I can't think of anything worse than sex whilst on my period, mine are painful and heavy.
As for medicating with anything other than the prescribed pill to stop it, why risk it? NSAID drugs like ibuprofen can react with other medications.
My advice, withhold off sex until you can. |

We discovered Beppy sponges a few years ago, no longer do we miss out on fun for a week a month and in all that time only 1 guy has discovered it, on a gb night we have to remove it, rinse it and pop it back in after 3 or 4 hours. |

We get the 'hold off' pills from the chemist. If we have a night out planned and it's cutting it close Sasha starts taking them 3 days before we go and stops after our club night. They work for up to 3 weeks although we wouldn't advise regular use. We use them maybe twice a year when it clashes with big nights out. |

She had to have a consultation with the doctor but can now just go the chemists, thinks it's just a basic health screen the same as you need for full strength viagra. People use them for holidays normally (which is fine with the doc's) but we use them if there is a particular party we want to attend and the dates don't match the cycle. |
