Any sparkys on here who can anyone help me try to understand and potentially fix the mess a local electrician has left whilst try to setup my UFH system and radiators on a 2 port zone valve system.
He’s tried but had to leave at 6pm. Now I’ve tested it, it’s not working. Can anyone help please? |

I do hope he's coming back to sort it out. |

Try to see the positive out of this situation.
He could have cut off your internet connection by mistake and you wouldn't be able to ask that question on fab and we wouldn't have had that sexual tension between us |

He came to enable my new UFH system and in the process of trying to set it all up he’s knocked out the upstairs radiators too. Thermostats seem to have been wired into the Heatmiser control Center UH8 correctly as they light up when they call for heat. The 2 port zone vale doesn’t see to open though (unless done manually) and the UFH pump seems to run all the time. Confusing |

"Try turning the switch on the uh8 unit to RAD,that allows zone 8 to be used on its own without activating the ufh pump,if its all connected correctly that is. "
Hi Gary, yeah I spotted that. He’s not flicked it tbh! Could you message me please as I’m nearly there with it I think. I just can’t get the “valve” light (that opens the UFH zone valve) to switch off even though no UFH stats are calling for heat. |
