had a spider crawl across me arm and chest once. it just stopped there lifting one of its legs and lowering it as if it was prodding my chest.
didnt faze me at all until i was told later it was deadly.
only thing i cant stand are scorpions. i stepped on loads and we always had to knock shoes on the walls and clothing as they like to hide in dark places.

"Not being enough. "
There's only one person in this world you ever need to be enough for, and that's you.
While you're worrying about not being enough for another person you're simply torturing yourself. When you compare yourself to other people.... you're simply torturing yourself.
I'm certain you have qualities/attributes other people see in you that they wish they had, but you don't even notice these things because they're simply part of you.
Start focussing on the positives instead of the negatives all the time and you'll be far happier.
Take it from someone who's been there and got the t-shirt.
You WILL be enough.... for the right person.

"Developing dementia in later life.
Not good for anyone.
A
My elderly Aunt has dementia which is very sad to witness but we help her as much as we can."
My dad has had it for years. Now has no quality of life, ability to communicate and has no idea who I am.
Sickens me that we're allowed to end the suffering of animals yet not allowed to choose our own time without legal ramifications. A DNR is all well and good but i'd much rather go the Dignitas route.

I am really afraid of huge boobs
The bigger the tits the bigger the fear....in order to combat this terrifying issue I have decided to face my peril full on.
So any exceptionally large busted ladies who can pm me with their photos and details will be helping me to overcome this life destroying situation.
Thanks so much....Meeting such colossal breasts would be an even more intrepid saga for me but one that I would simply have to endure.... |

Getting old
I've watched work mates and family members become shadows of their former selves..
Too see a man in his prime and then see him at his weaker old age.. scares the shit outta me, to think I'll be there one day.

"Failure.
P
Afraid to fail at what?...If you don't mind me asking?!"
I don't mind anyone asking, I'm an open book.
I'm afraid of failure in certain aspects. A new job for example, I could do with a new job with better pay and more sociable hours. If I got a new job and failed, I'd feel like I'd let myself down, not to mention the implications it would have on keeping a roof over my head.
I was afraid of failing my son, of doing a bad mum job. He's fucking awesome though and already a mini legend so that's done and dusted.
I'm afraid of not giving my best, and letting myself and others down. This can sometimes go too far, to the point I'll sacrifice myself for others, and I'll be left fighting emotionally or financially just to make it easier for other people

Well it's true. Your "worth" doesn't come from other people, it comes from within.

Spiders, I’ve been bitten by them previously and it bloody hurt!
Having my mouth covered , I can’t breath properly through my nose after 2 lots of surgery and I used to dream about being robbed and gaged, it was horrible and used to really shake me up. |

I have / had the same innate fear. The previous poster's reply is a lovely one and totally, profoundly true. Being enough for yourself is the only thing in one's control. |

Very scary, I have another operation this Friday and I'm crapping it, but I know I'm in good hands. My hospital was amazing. |
