Can I ask why do people accept your friend invite and then when you message ignore or delete it?

I can understand as I'm no oil painting if they accepted looked at photos then unfriended me.

Anyone got any opinions on this strange attitude?

They may have accepted just to gain fabs on their photos and have no intention of interacting with you?

Pic collectors. They just want to see which pictures you’re keeping secret

If they’re not chatting at the very least, unfriend and block them

I'm guessing some people just accept all friend requests. The solution is to only send them to people you have already conversed with.

We tend not to be friends with any one we haven't met or are not going to meet.

It's a little pointless being friends with someone 500 miles away you're never going to interact with in anyway

I think the clue is in the word.

I've accepted a few and been blocked. Not cool

People take time to ascertain which other people they will develop closer relationships with and anyone may suddenly be realised as inappropriate at any point. This isn't just about you but also about the other party - needs, interests and outside life changes, as well as going off someone.

You may get a reply to a message.

You may get a friend invite accepted. So what?

All relationships have to be worked at and whatever you invest, you may never meet or shag.

Put your focus on those who you could have a better chance with, not those who you have lost. There's so much choice, it's astounding
