"It depends on how many people you are expecting?
Four at most, it will be an intimate affair "
Then abandon cutlery, in favour of sticky finger-licking food, then. Food you can feed eachother... |

Tear and share bread is a great idea. That's the sort of idea I'm after. "
It was on Facebook? Tasty recipes... |

I'm going to do sausages and cheese & pickled onions on sticks stuck into half an orange wrapped in tinfoil.
Reliving the olden days.
Maybe some vol au vents with cold mushroom soup in them too. |

Born to a Norwegian mother and Australian father we usually have Gravlax a plenty... pretty decent for any salmon lovers out there... and quicker than a sausage roll |

"We’re low carb so cheese, pate and non-breaded/pastry meat snacks play a big part! If in doubt, a platter full of pigs in blankets and some Applewood cheese would sort me out
TB"
Pigs in blankets will definitely be on the menu |

Buy the pre rolled puff pastry
Jar of small sweet hot peppers

Make as a sheet like a big pizza or I’ve made into small tarts.

"I’m starting to think that some food from Aldi is on a par with that which I buy in Waitrose. I don’t really celebrate Christmas although Yule understand I like Christmas mince pies. "
I agree with you about Aldi. I do understand that Yule be eating mince pies |

I saw it on YouTube, never done it though "

EVERYTHING looks easy on YT. The times I've watched someone style their hair and think "ooo I'll try that" three hours later I'm an hysterical, weeping mess with a haystack on my head. |

"Can't beat a chocolate fountain
True but they're so messy. I might do fruit dipped in chocolate actually"
Chocolate fruit kebabs on skewers. Dip the fruit in melted choc then chuck them in the fridge to harden. |

You see this is my type of cooking. I don't want to be slaving over a hot stove but I'd happily dip fruit in chocolate and roll out a sheet of puff pastry. |
