Wow Jack, so sorry to hear about your stroke, hope you have no lasting effects from it. Don't know much about MS only that some are affected more than others by it. Hope yours is mild and not too life limiting "Thanks darl. Thankfully it was only a mini one with no lasting affects but still a shock at 41 lol. My MS isnt too bad thankfully. Weakness in my left leg and it comes and goes. Some months I'm fine and then other times I have to use a walking stick. But it is what it is. X | |||

We lost her sister last year and think she was lonely so got Moose the kitten at 8 weeks old. He's a little shit lol. Never comes for a stroke or a cuddle and persecutes Guiness. But he's so cute. X They just seem to have a mind of their own, don't they. Saw a good program about 'training' cats, same situation as yours. As we know kittens demand so much attention, they were distracting it with toys and playing with it, but doesn't work for everyone
We gave him loads of attention when he was a kitten. Maybe thats why he wont come near us now lol. Except at 4am every single morning to try and get under the duvet. Then crawl out again 5 minutes later. X
I've learnt cats are like that, they want your attention when they want it and have nothing to do with you when they don't. We don't know how old Molly is but vet thinks about 14 months, so still kitten like. It's amazing when she was looking after her kittens in our garden, in July, she was a perfect little mum, but now she's making up for missing out on her young months, so we put up with it.
She's 14 months and a mum? Bless her. Glad she has you now to take care of her. Yes it would seem with cats everything is on their terms lol. X
They can fall pregnant at 5 months old and gestation is two months, so it is likely she was a little mum at 7 months old. She would still let them nuzzle her, although the kits were weaned, when we found them. Every night, she paws and gently sucks my arm, before she falls asleep, they think its because she may have been separated from her own mum too soon and this is why we kept them altogether, until the kittens lost interest in her and were subsequently rehomed

Aaw, thank you. Animals are just very vulnerable and we have no idea how long she was roaming around. We've all come to the conclusion that she was dumped pregnant, in our village, had her kits, somewhere and maybe led them to our garden, as there's lots of places she could safely hide them.
Indeed they are. We always help where we can. Put food and water out for the strays, bird feeders etc. X
