Nope, if I met someone in a club or the real world I wouldn't expect them to sit a spelling test before I agreed to talk to them.
Same on here.
If you want to use spelling and grammar as a sift that's up to you, of course.

"I dont give a toss im dyslexic
Side note; why is dyslexic so hard to spell?!
I've always wonde_ed why this is too! "
One of life's ironic little things!
In response to the OP; I know that my punctuation is rather poor, grammatically I do try to make sure I'm using the correct syntax etc but when posting it sometimes slips by. On a profile is a slightly different thing though. I must confess to having a moment when people get your/you're and there/their mixed up in that context |

"I couldn't care less, it doesn't necessarily reflect upon their intelligence, just their education. Not the same thing "
Really? It's reflecting their education? Seriously?
You're right about their intelligence but not the latter.
There's a bit of an irony there. |

What I mean is bad grammar is not always because the person has dyslexia. May be because they didn't pay attention, or for whatever reason learn grammar properly in school. May not be educational related at all could be that they just can't be arsed with it.
The point I was trying to make is that their standard of grammar does not reflect their intellect |

Certainly not !
We are , and have only ever been interested in forming opinions on those people we have actually met . As long as the messaging that occurs is understandable , it matters not one bit whether the messages are grammatically perfect , since engaging in face to face conversation matters far more . |

Sometimes it can be put down to autocorrect on phones op ,where sender has typed something and phone has changed or added it's own word/s/ING thus making the seem illiterate or thick but it's just a case they haven't proof read before sending, happens to me all the time so now I slow down and make sure it's what I want to send |

Really doesn't bother me, unless it's text talk. Some of the most amazing people I know are dreadful at grammar and spelling. This in no way detracts from the people they are.

I don't think poor grammar or punctuation reflect on anyone's ability to fuck.
You've just passed over the best sex you could have had because they spelt *theyre instead of there.
*apostrophe deliberately omitted. |

Grammar online doesn't seem to bother me too much. It is when you're having drinks, it all gets a little flirty and then they breath down your ear "I want to duck you so hard. I want to duck you in the toilets then duck you a little more at home. It will be discrete." |

It's generally text-speak and lack of punctuation that annoys me more so than poor spelling or grammar, but that just means I won't reply. If I'm having difficulty understanding an introductory message, there's absolutely no point in pursuing a conversation.
I love language and vocabulary, and when I see someone who uses both well, I know we already have something in common |

a quandary, could you change my mind? |
"I couldn't care less, it doesn't necessarily reflect upon their intelligence, just their education. Not the same thing "
Or / and that they are dyslexic. Fortunately my brain works and processes things in a different way to others, just because I have problems at times with spelling mistakes and grammar. Do either mean I'm not intelligent or educated. |
