Do people actually meet with people who message "free now" do people literally jump in the car and go? - I'm just wondering if im a bit strange for wanting a bit of Conversation/interaction before i choose to meet someone

That said I have put up free tomorrow or a certain day

I don't mind quicker meets sometimes but do like to get a feel for what I'm getting first

And guys might put it up sometimes to let people they have already chatted with know they are free

Not in the slightest bit strange OP - think the fastest I've met someone from here (that's not been at a club) has been after two months of swapping messages/getting to know one another - personally I tend to find the sex is better if you've got to know each other and built a connection and chemistry

Occasionally I'm tempted by spur of the moment meets, I even post for them sometimes when I'm having a rare phase of high sex drive. Some such meets work out really well.

The vast majority of the time though I'm much more interested in getting to know people a bit, see what boxes we tick, have a social meet etc etc.

I have definite kinds of people in mind that I want to meet here and one-offs aren't really my thing, plus my time and energy are limited so I like to chat and have some conversation to see if I'm likely to click with someone.

Also, "free now faf" messages usually come across as somebody just being out on the pull which is fine if I'm in the mood for that but they usually get a polite no thanks, or just binned if the message is crass.

It's difficult because reading and messages isn't everyone's thing, and I know some lovely people who have no capacity or inclination for conversations in text. Conversely I've met some after a lot of chat here, who in the event I've not clicked with at all.

That's very true. I can't say that I've ever put up a 'meet now' for anything more than a social or a future club meet as I like to get to know people at least a little. I can't imagine anything more awkward than meeting a random person with no idea of who they are!

Each one of us is different.

I for one, have done, and will do free now meets. I have no issue with doing it. Planning helps, but not essential.

Then there’s the case, if when you do meet in person for sex, that person is different from what you perceived.

Maybe my standard needs raised, but I’m content in doing it my way.

Those that met me can also confirm, I can bloody talk!! Sometimes even the sex is secondary.
