Anyone on we received random calls from Iraq tonight?
Had 2 that I ignored then the 3rd one I was typing on my phone and it connected, just for a second!
Bit concerned it might end up costing me a lot! currently on hold to ee lost and stolen service. I know it's not a lost or stolen issue but it's the only service open at this time of night.
Tried googling the number but nothing came up. |

I know no one in Iraq. I wasn't going to speak to them to see what they wanted.
I've heard if scams where people block your line of charge you hundreds of pounds etc so just wanted to see if anyone knew of any scams specifically from Iraq. |

I wondered who Sam was 
I think most of those companies rely on you calling them back and charging you that way, that's why they ring a few times and normally cut off just as you answer. |

I have but that doesn't stop me wondering if its a scam or not. Wouldn't you be curious if you started getting calls from Iraq? |

It hasn't 'got to me'. It was a curious thought as I felt it was a scam. I've received further calls today, again from Iraq but a different number than yesterday. Persistent buggers. Before you ask, yes I have blocked that one too but as far as I know I can't block all calls from one country before they block me. |

Have you bought anything recently where you had to give them your mobile number? Like insurance. Sounds dodgy. Hope they f off! |
