Creaky work boot :o(

Left boot does it when I put weight on it at the heal, walking on any surface. Ive looked for cracks on the sole etc. Anything else i can try?

I thought I’d seen every thread going, then wham! Right out of nowhere, some dude has got creaky work boot issues. This will run to 175 in no time at all.

It's the shank that runs inbetween the insole and sole of your shoe. It's either broken or come loss. You can get to it from the inside if you want to have a go or take it to your local cobblers.

I only know as I used to do it as a job many years ago.

Was thinking the same. Op I feel your pain my School shoe used to make a squeaking sound.
